Reminder: Annual Town Meeting Starts Monday, May 6th, Town Election on Monday, May 20th!

Hopkinton Annual Town Meeting will start on Monday May 6th, 7pm at Hopkinton Middle School.

Annual Town Meeting will occur 7pm during the evenings of Monday, May 6th, Tuesday May 7th, Wednesday May 8th or until the warrant is concluded. This year there is 52 articles on the Town Meeting warrant. You can view the warrant in the attachments below.

Hopkinton Center for the Arts: Week-Long Movie Making Programs Summer Spotlight!

HCA Summer Movie Making programs!

In this introduction to movie making, each 5-day workshop is comprised of making movie trailers and sketches. For beginner and intermediate-level movie makers and actors, these programs will focus on what goes into making a movie while getting hands-on experience being both in front of and behind the cameras. At the end of the summer, families are invited to a screening of all the work done by the students, as well as receiving links to privately access the work online.

We are thrilled to announce a special charity plate in support of the 26.2 Foundation. We are currently taking pre-orders, here’s what you need to know.

The standard $60 registration and renewal fees applies.

The special charity plate is $40, with $28 of the purchase price going to the 26.2 Foundation. The remaining $12 is a one-time-only cost to cover manufacturing expenses.

I am writing with passionate support of Peter Mimmo for the Hopkinton Select Board. Peter has unique expertise in matters specifically challenging to our community at this moment.

His thoughtful and measured approach to passionate and potentially divisive questions has been inspiring - he is able to both acknowledge firmly held beliefs of our town and focus on the established legal processes that support solutions focused steps while adhering to legal principles that guide our commonwealth.
