Water Main Break On Eastview Road

The DPW reported as of 11:00am this morning of a water main break on Eastview Road. The water will be turned off for a few hours until it can be repaired.
The DPW reminds residents that after experiencing a water main break, the water system is flushed by the water department. In most cases, you will not notice any difference in your water, but there is a chance you may have air in the line or notice a reddish or murky color. Flushing your system at home for 5 minutes after the water has been restored is a good practice and should take care of those problems. You can flush using cold water from your kitchen
