Do you know someone who a lways goes the extra mile to make a difference in the lives of others? Is there someone you know who lives or works in Hopkinton who has made big str ides towards helping the community, someone whose efforts have made them s tand out in the pack? This is your chance to say thank you!
The HPTA is pleased to announce the 3rd annual Hopkinton Heroes Essay Contest. Stud ents in grades K – 12 have the opportunity to recognize a local hero. Submi t an essay stating what makes this person a Hopkinton Hero (no more than on e page please). Please include your name, age, grade, address and email address (as well as the name, address and email address of the person you are nominating). Essays are due by no later than March 1st.

The spirit of the HPTA is one of volunteerism. Therefore, the organization seeks to recognize and reward students who demonstrate the spi rit of volunteerism during their high school years. Scholarships are grante d to students who demonstrate service to the Hopkinton High School communit y, to the town of Hopkinton, as well as to the national and /or global co mmunity. Each scholarship amount is $1,000 and will be awarded to up to t hree qualified seniors each year, pending completion of their first semest er of post-high school study.
