Car Discovered in Lake Whitehall

Hopkinton Police and Fire were called to the scene at Lake Whitehall just after 9AM on October 11th after a car was discovered in the water by a passerby near the boat ramp.

After responders determined that the vehicle was unoccupied and that there were no injuries, a regional dive team helped to secure the BMW 740i, and buoy it up and out of the water. According to police, the vehicle was reported stolen out of Framingham the night before. An investigation is underway to determine the specifics of the incident. The case is now being handled by the Massachusetts State Police.
