Homecoming Highlights, Hopkinton 34, Bellingham 6
Coming off their first loss of the season, the Hillers Football team had something to prove. And with the Friday night lights shining especially bright for the homecoming celebration, which included a pregame bonfire, a cookout, as well as coverage from Fox 25's High School Game Day, the Hiller's rose to the occasion, easily beating Bellingham 34-6. The team got off to a fast start, scoring on quarterback Hank Rudden's 69 yard touchdown throw to Andrew McMillan on the first drive of the game.
The Hiller's led 20-0 at halftime thanks in part to running back Nolan Cornu's huge game. The Junior rushed for 162 yards, including 3 touchdowns.
