Keelin and Mallory Bannon Bring Their Field Hockey Win Home
October 13th was a big homecoming for former Hillers field hockey standouts Keelin and Mallory Bannon. The Cornell University juniors came back to Hopkinton with the rest of their team after a 4-0 win against Harvard for a tailgating party at their house. The day was particularly special for the girls, as members of the current Hillers team cheered them on from the stands.
After a shaky start to the season, the Big Red's shutout of Harvard pushed them to a .500 record at 6-6. The grind of a college athlete can take its toll, but the girls say that the key to their success is staying focused and maintaining a positive attitude.
