National Reading Month Kicks Off at Elmwood School
To mark the March 2nd birthday of children's author Dr. Seuss, the National Education Association launched its Read Across America Day program 12 years ago, with the goal of using Seuss's work as a vehicle to encourage reading.
Watch the HCAM News video to see Elmwood's students dressed up as their favorite Seuss characters and listen as Elmwood's librarian, Elizabeth Weldon talks about the goals and activities planned for the month long reading event.
