Strong wind Monday Afternoon led to a branch flying through a windshield of a car driving on Rte. 135 in Ashland. At the time the branch smashed through the windshield, a 26 year old Hopkinton man was driving. According to reports the driver fortunately was not harmed. The winds Monday reached above 30 mph in the Hopkinton/Ashland area and this should be a reminder to all of how dangerous the strong gusts can be.
