Last year Hopkinton Hillers Boys Varsity Soccer had an incredible season finishing regular season play with 12 wins, 2 losses and 4 ties. The Hillers captured the 8th seed in the Division 2 state tournament and went on to take down #25th seeded Duxbury, #24th seeded North Attenborough and #1 seeded Bedford on the road to advance to the D2 State semi-finals versus #5th seeded Wakefield.

Hopkinton Center for the Arts has announced this year’s Curator in Residence gallery exhibition, “Portraits in RED: Missing & Murdered Indigenous Peoples Painting Project”. Featuring work from artist Nayana Lafond, it will be on display in HCA’s Lotvin Family Gallery October 9-November 21st. A free public reception to meet the artist will take place on November 1st at 6 pm.

Last year both Hiller Boys and Girls Cross Country won the TVL Large title. The Boys team finished 5 and 0 during the regular season, the Girls finished 4 and 1 and both the Boys and Girls teams won the all-TVL meet to cap off the regular season.

This season, a number of great athletes are back and the Hillers are looking for a repeat. Boys Head Coach, Laura McKenzie and Girls Head Coach, Jean Cann have the teams training together to get ready for the season.

Both the Boys and Girls Cross Country team have their 1st meet on Wednesday, September 18th @ Norwood at 4:30pm.

Hiller Field Hockey features a lot of new faces mixed in with some great returning talent this season. Last year the Hillers finished with 13 wins, 5 losses and 2 ties overall. The Hillers picked up a 2-0 D2 state tournament win over a very good Middleboro team in the round of 32 before falling to a tough Doherty team in the Round of 16. The Hiller captains this season include: Zoe Adams, Ella Fowler, Maddie Godfroy and Emily Watson.

Hopkinton Hillers Head Coach, Ally Valencia enters her 3rd season at the helm and looks forward to working with this years group.
