REMINDER: Drive-Up Movie, August 1st at 6:30PM

Join Hopkinton Organizing for Prevention on Thursday, August 1st at 6:30 pm at the MetroWest Outdoor Center YMCA for a Drive-Up movie featuring Kung Fu Panda 4! This event is FREE to all. There will be FREE sorbet from Hop-Yo and candy bags. This is a trash in/trash out event requiring participants to remove their own trash upon event close.

WHEN: Attendees may start arriving at 6:30pm (no earlier) to park, the movie will begin around 7:20pm

Hopkinton Youth & Family Services: Play It Forward: New/Used Sports Equipment Distribution

Hopkinton Youth & Family Services is looking to help out young athletes in need by hosting "Play it Forward" a new/used Sports Equipment Drive & Distribution. Tuesday, August 6th from 3-7pm will be drop off of new or gently used sports equipment at HMS. Wednesday August 7th from 3-7pm will be the opportunity to shop the equipment donations at Hopkinton Middle School.

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting "A Magic of Three” in the Lotvin Family Gallery. The exhibition opens on September 10 and runs to October 3, 2024. There will be a free public reception and artist talk Friday September 13 @ 6 pm.

Hopkinton Sustainable Green Committee: To convey the crucial ecological role of pollinators, students plant gardens in Hopkinton

On July 22 and 24, students Shaurya and Suhani Patni, along with community members, will be planting pollinator gardens near two popular town trails in Hopkinton. At the Hughes property, 192 Hayden Rowe, a 200 square-foot plot will feature native plants that attract local, endangered bee species. Near Pratt Field, between 108 and 126 Fruit St., a garden to entice butterflies and moths will be planted next to the pond. There will be approximately 100 flowering plants, including the familiar, like bee balm, and the less well-known, like purple raspberry.
