Mark William Bracken named Executive Director of the Massachusetts State Lottery
Mark William Bracken has been named Executive Director of the Massachusetts State Lottery after having performed the role on an interim basis since March of 2022. State Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg, Chair of the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission, made the announcement today during the Commission’s monthly meeting.

Summer Bible Story Drop In at St. Paul’s
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hopkinton will be hosting a Summer Bible Story Drop In for children in the community ages 2-5 and their parents or guardians. The Bible Story Drop In will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon on four consecutive Wednesday mornings --- July 12, 19, 26, and August 2. The Bible Story Drop In is free, and activities include stories, snacks, and juice. Participants are welcome to come any week that is convenient (or all four weeks) and should arrive at 10:15 a.m.

HCA and Metrowest YMCA are teaming up to bring an even bigger Wicked Weekend experience this October! We are seeking volunteers in a number of areas. Read on to see what sort of positions are available.
Wicked Weekend will entail a Haunted Town (at YMCA), along with a family-friendly Monster Mash and our annual Wicked 5k run.
For the purposes of this newsletter, we are focused on gathering interested people to help us with the Haunted Town.

The 20th annual Sharon Timlin 5K and Family Fun Day took place this past Saturday (6/17) at Hopkinton High School. A whole lot of participants ran the 3+ Miles, the expected rain fortunately held off and a good time was had by all as they raised well needed funds to Fight ALS.
