Author Susan Wilson will speak on her recent biography of Dr. Susan Dimock (1847-1875) Women and Children First: The Trailblazing Life of Susan Dimock, MD. Dr. Dimock moved to Hopkinton in the mid-1860s with her mother and other family members, where they ran the Hopkinton Hotel. Young Susan also taught in the Hopkinton public schools. Come join us at the Hopkinton Historical Society, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm to learn more about this remarkable 19th century woman for whom Boston's Dimock Health Center is named.
