Joel is hopeless romantic with a heart of gold! He is hoping to find his forever family before the summer comes to a close, and to help make his dream a reality, we have waived his adoption fee!
Joel is the perfect companion for a retirement or work-from-home lifestyle:
~ He has the ideal energy level for leisurely walks, easy hikes, and playtime. Joel is super smart and food motivated! He loves his training time and is happy to entertain himself with his food puzzles and treat balls.
~ Joel is equally content with lounging around the house and spending quality time with his humans. He simply LOVES people! He has never met a stranger and is described as a very affectionate dog. Who can resist his adorable, happy smile?
~ Joel loves car rides and is happy to join his people on adventures!
Joel is looking for a home with no other animals, so he can hog all of the attention.
Joel's foster mom says "He's very resilient. I doubt he's had an easy life but still he's super friendly and just wants to be someone's companion and be loved." When Joel was new to foster, he showed some signs of separation/confinement anxiety. His dedicated foster mom has been working with him, and Joel is doing so well now that he has a routine! To help Joel transition into his new home, Baypath will be covering a 6-week training package with Sophie Oldsman to help his adopter through the adjustment period.*
We can not wait to see Joel settle into a forever home, he has so much love and can not wait to share it!
