I write in support of Kyla McSweeney for one of the open Hopkinton Select Board positions.
I have known Kyla and her family for over a decade. Her decision to run for this position is founded on her concern for the challenges being faced in our community.
Kyla has a background of being an avid volunteer in town, including being an elected member of the Cemetery Commission.
In the professional realm Kyla has experience serving as a public interest attorney, as well as managing contracts and grants. This provides a solid knowledge of monetary and regulatory matters. All of these skills will positively benefit our community.
Kyla is well versed on the hot topic issues in our town and will listen to all constituents and stake holders to make informed decisions. I feel confident she will be an excellent addition to the Select Board.
