I know Peter Mimmo to be a man devoted to family and community; present and responsive at community events; respectful, speaking with you on your own level. Also of primary note, actively engaged in addressing pressing environmental issues facing the town.
Open and personable, he’s often seen walking in the neighborhood with his wife, son, and little pup “Logan”.
But above all, it is his trait of kindness which wins the day, with a dash of old- fashioned chivalry, showing up at my door during a Nor’easter, offering to shovel my entrance and steps, ensuring my safe egress. This trait of empathy augurs well in a vital town position, where it is really the same dynamic, “Neighbor helping neighbor”, just on a wider scale.
Sincerely,
Margaret Barton
