ESL Live! March 9 and 10

The upcoming election, the “occupy” movement, and the hijinks of pop celebrities are just some of the subjects that will be spoofed during the sixth ESL Live! show on March 9 and 10. New and regular members of the ESL Live! comedy troupe will once again be offering an assortment of comedy skits, political satire, fake commercials, and live music. The fun will begin at 8:00 p.m. at the Woodville Rod and Gun Club, at 252 Wood Street (Rte. 135) in Hopkinton.

ESL Live! borrows its format from the popular Saturday Night Live comedy show and will feature music by local musicians, including several Hopkinton natives.

“The Republican debates, pop cultural events, and reality TV shows have provided a lot of great material for this year’s ESL Live,” said Kelly Grill, co-founder of ESL. “Adults of all ages are sure to enjoy this year’s new material and talented cast. Come join us for a crazy evening of fun and hilarity!”

Tickets for the adults-only show, which will feature a cash bar, are $17.00 general admission, $13 for seniors and stage door members, and are available at the Enter Stage Left website. Judging from past years’ successes, shows are expected to sell-out, so people interested in attending are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.
