Hopkinton P.D., Ashland P.D. and rescue teams were on the scene Friday afternoon at the Hopkinton State Park boat ramp for a report of a shooting. According to reports the 55 year old male had a self inflicted gunshot wound to the heart area. The man was stabilized and taken to UMass Worcester Trauma Center.
