The Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) has announced its fourth annual Celebrity Spotlight on the Arts fundraising concert. This hallmark event features a nationally acclaimed artist each year to bolster HCA's mission and annual fund. The performer for 2024 is the Grammy Award-winning artist, Marc Cohn.
This annual event serves as HCA's signature fundraiser and provides much needed support for the organization. Created in 2011, HCA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community arts center, fosters and celebrates the creative spirit in everyone.
HCA's Executive Director, Kelly Grill, notes, "We have grown so much as a regional arts resource for over 200 communities to enjoy. Funds raised through this concert will directly support our scholarships, free programming, community events and specialty programming for people with disabilities and seniors."
Grill continues, "Fundraising is a necessity for any non-profit organization. Our programming income only covers 70% of our operating costs. Donations, sponsorships, grants and fundraisers like this account for the remaining 30% which tops $600,000 this year. So, every ticket purchased to this event is supporting our mission"
The night includes an online auction, an open bar with light bites, and an unforgettable, intimate evening of music. For those in attendance and those unable to come, an online auction will also be available for guests.
