Hopkinton Varsity Volleyball defeated Holliston Monday night, 3-0 (25-11, 25-22, 25-20).
The outside hitters led the offense with freshman Holly Adams scoring 13 kills and junior Tess Chandler adding 12 kills and a block. Senior Hannah Krueger added 6 kills.
Senior setter Katy Cook and freshman setter Renee Cooprider combined for 30 assists.
The defense was led by junior Lindsay Manning who scrambled for 23 digs. Manning also contributed 11 service points (including 2 aces) and passed serve perfectly.
The Hillers next match will be Wednesday, October 19th, at home vs. Bellingham at 6:30pm and then Friday, October 21st will be their Dig Pink match vs. Millis at 5:30pm.
In Soccer, the Hopkinton Middle School boys’ soccer team lost Monday to Wayland Middle School 3-0. Nick Gammal, Ben Ullman, Ryan DiNicola, and Anthony Fomin played well in the defeat. The boys and girls travel to Dedham today.
