Hopkinton Fire Assists Westboro in 4 Alarm Fire

Hopkinton Firefighters with Engine 4 and Chief Clark responded to a four alarm fire at Park Village on East Main Street Westborough on February 21, 2012. The fire started in the apartment complex around 10am and four apartments were destroyed by the time the fire was out. Three people were injured in the blaze and taken to UMass Medical; two firemen and one maintenance man. Westborough Chief Walter Perron was in charge at the scene and State Fire Marshall Stven Coan was on-site to investigate the cause of the fire.

In addition to Hopkinton, a total of 10 towns responded to the four alarm fire including Ashland, Northborough, Southborough, Grafton, Shrewsbury, Marlborough, Upton, Boylston, Berlin and Hudson.
