This year the HPTA received 13 essays submitted by students for consideration in the 4th annual Hopkinton Heroes essay contest. We were touched by all of the essays – and by the extraordinary efforts made by our local heroes – and we will be recognizing all of the nominees this year.
Our local heroes include teachers, fire fighters, librarians, bus drivers and even a sibling – they have all made the difference in the life of a child and in the community! The 2011 Hopkinton Heroes and the students who recognized them include:
