The Hopkinton Police Department posted the following status on facebook that all Hopkinton residents and surrounding towns should be aware of.
"On the overnight hours of Wednesday, October 9th into Thursday, October 10th Hopkinton experienced several automotive break-ins and a stolen vehicle in the Holliston corner of town near Sterling Dr. and Pendulum Pass. The initial investigation indicates that this is an active and organized theft ring. The Hopkinton Police Department encourages people to lock their vehicles and not to store their valuables in their cars. The Hopkinton Police further requests that residents in the area review their home security cameras in attempts to identy potential suspects and suspect vehicles. Please do not hesitate to report suspicious people or activity in your neighborhood
