Tomorrow morning, Saturday, September 15th,
We will be welcoming poet Michael R. Brown coming from far-off Robbinston of northern Maine. Michael was the founding Boston slam master and now hosts a monthly reading and is co-publisher of Off the Coast poetry journal with partner and poet, Valerie Lawson). Still an activist of community, Michael works in theater and is president of the board and works at the local theater company known as Stage East. He is also presently working on a book about American education.
Poet Paul Hostovsky and singer-songwriter Perry Desmond-Davies will also be guest features at this event with an impressive open mic to follow.
