Hopkinton native and graduate of Harvard, Sean Farrell signed a 3 year entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens and will join the team on their upcoming trip to Buffalo and Philadelphia. Sean was also a member of the 2022 USA Olympic team and tallied 3 goals and 3 assists during the Olympic games.

MONTREAL – Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced today that the team has agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with forward Sean Farrell (2022-23 to 2024-25) which carries an average annual value of $1,158,333.
He will join the team on the upcoming trip to Buffalo and Philadelphia.
The 21-year-old scored 20 goals and added 33 assists in 34 games this season with the Harvard Crimson in the NCAA’s Hockey East conference. In 58 career games at the collegiate level, the 5-foot-9, 175-pound left winger totaled 81 points (30 goals, 51 assists).
A native of Hopkinton, MA, Farrell was selected in the fourth round (124th overall) by the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Draft.”
