As we move into our last month of Summer classes at the HCA, we are excited to continue to see so many new and returning faces to our fine and performing arts classes. Registration continues for summer classes. Check out the list of upcoming classes starting next week.
Last week, we were fortunate enough to have HCA instructor, board member, and professional photographer Lynne Damianos donate her time to photograph a number of classes. The photos (including the one seen above) are a great representation of what occurs here at the HCA on a daily basis. Thanks Lynne!
In other news, the HCA was excited to add a new baby grand piano to the Delbridge Family Performance Space. The new piano was purchased, with help from Charlie the Tuner, for a bargain price. Pianos of this caliber can run in the thousands of dollars so this find was a great opportunity. The HCA can now host piano recitals and other musical events!
And as you can see below this month is jam packed with events! We hope to see you all here at the HCA, either to take in a show or join us on Saturday, August 27 for our Fall Open House from 10am to 1pm, followed by a 7:30pm free performance of Brown Box Theatre's touring production of Shakespeare's Cymbeline.
