Thomas A. Regan, 65, husband of Judith A. Regan of Hopkinton MA, passed away on June 18, 2024. Tom was the son of the late William A. and Catherine T. (Walsh) Regan, and was raised in Somerville MA. He attended Matignon High School in Cambridge, MA and was a graduate of Bridgewater State College.

On the June 19th edition of HCAM News, the annual Sharon Timlin 5k takes place, scenes from the annual Library touch a truck event plus much more but first, Hopkinton High School renames the auditorium stage to honor Valerie Von Rosenvinge who is retiring from her Theater Director and Teacher position after 22 years of service.

Hopkinton Police Seek Information on Women in White Vehicle Who Offered a Ride to a Young Child

Chief Joseph Bennett reports that the Hopkinton Police Department is investigating an incident that took place Tuesday afternoon at Hopkinton Common.

Around 2:40 p.m., Hopkinton Police responded to a call by a woman who said her child was offered a ride home by two Hispanic females who were traveling in a white vehicle, possibly a Toyota RAV4.

The child, who was taught by their mother to not speak with strangers, ran away and rejoined their friends.

The annual Sharon Timlin 5k & Family Fun day took place on a beautiful Saturday morning/afternoon at Hopkinton High School. Nearly 1,000 attended and about 800 runners participated to help raise funds in the fight against ALS. View more about the Sharon Timlin 5k HERE!

Melissa Jane (Clark) Dickinson, 49

Melissa Jane (Clark) Dickinson, of Bethesda, MD, passed away peacefully from Glioblastoma on June 10, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home. Melissa was born on January 6, 1975, in Dallas, TX, but was raised primarily in Hopkinton, MA. She graduated from Hopkinton High School in 1993 and was a member of the tennis and soccer teams, the National Honor Society, and was Editor of her Class Yearbook. In 1997, Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA, with a BA degree.

Hopkinton High School Theatre Director/Teacher, Valerie Von Rosenvinge retired after 22 years at Hopkinton High School. On June 6th, Hopkinton High School hosted a ceremony to honor Valerie's career and tremendous contributions to the HHS theatre program and officially named the HHS auditorium stage after her.

Community Notice: Town Hall Update for Wednesday June 19th 2024

Hopkinton Town Hall and municipal offices (including the Hopkinton Public Library and the Hopkinton Senior Center) will be closed on Wednesday June 19th 2024, in observance of Juneteenth.
