Erica Ann Richards, 33, died suddenly on Saturday June 8, 2024 in Worcester. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Valerie and stepdaughter of John Murphy of Hopkinton, MA and the daughter of the late Douglas Richards. She leaves her brother Ross Richards of Chelsea, MA and her step siblings Caitlyn, Colleen, and Ryan. She also leaves her aunt and uncle, Felicia and Richard Comeras, aunt and uncle and godparents Carla Pepka and her late husband John Pepka, and Robert Call. She also leaves her aunt Gianna Regan and late uncle Robert.

Hopkinton Select Board Schedules Meet And Greet For Residents To Interact With Town Manager Finalists

The Town of Hopkinton is pleased to announce a Meet and Greet Session will be held on June 20th to offer Hopkinton residents and employees the opportunity to interact with the finalists for the position of Hopkinton’s next Town Manager.

“We are very interested in having community members engage with the Town Manager finalists,” said Brian Herr, Chair of the Hopkinton Select Board. “We value the input of all of our residents and employees in the Town Manager selection process.”

MSO celebrates the graduation of 18 new correction officers

The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office (MSO) welcomed 18 new correction officers during a ceremony held June 6 at Tufts University.

The graduation ceremony for the 50th Basic Training Academy (BTA) featured a keynote address by Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian as well as powerful remarks by Medford Police Chief Jack Buckley and Tufts University Executive Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police Yolanda Smith.
