This Friday night guest features include poet/editor, bg Thurston, oral historian/storytelling advocate, Ruth Edmonds Hill, singer-songwriter/producer Steve Rapson and singer-songwriter/host of numerous community open mics, Ellen Schmidt.
All four of these talented people have been special mentors to me the past 18 years and to many others through the sharing of their own individual art as well as serving as inspirational hosts of open mics and performance programs for community.
They have also all been guest features on HCAM-TV's Wake Up And Smell The Poetry program.
On Friday night, each guest will share a little of their own art and also be asked for observations and insights on the importance of the arts for community.
