Treat the mom in your life to this one-hour melodious concert featuring harpist Yvonne Cox and flutist Kate Davison. Playing an array of classical music pieces, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

About the performers:
Yvonne Cox is a charismatic harpist influenced by a variety musical genres and artistic mediums. Cox is a versatile musician and frequently performs a diverse range of musical styles including solo, orchestral, chamber, and contemporary works.
Ms. Cox has had the opportunity to attend many music festivals throughout the United States and Canada such as the PRISMA Festival Orchestra in Powell River, British Columbia; Miami Classical Music Festival in South Beach Miami, Florida and the Brevard Music Center Orchestra in North Carolina.
Kate Davison flutist and piccoloist, can be found teaching and performing throughout Boston and the greater Boston area. She recently earned a piccolo certificate from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the guidance of Catherine Payne, the piccoloist of the San Francisco Symphony. In San Francisco, she appeared with the San Francisco Contemporary Music Players and SF Ballet Orchestra. Kate was the principal flutist at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, and while there was a semi-finalist in the Jacqueline Avent concerto competition.
Before her San Francisco ventures, Kate earned a master's degree with honors at the New England Conservatory as a student of Reneé Krimsier. She performed in Symphony Hall and collaborated with Eureka Ensemble, an outreach-based orchestra. Kate began at The Hartt School, studying with Janet Arms. While at Hartt, she performed with the Hartt Orchestra and the contemporary ensemble Foot in Door. As a dedicated teacher, Kate is a faculty member at Groton Hill Music Center, Hopkinton Center for the Arts, and the All Newton Music School.
