Hopkinton Girls Track & Field falls to Holliston, 51.5-43.5

On Monday afternoon, Holliston girls track and field team beat Hopkinton, 51.5-43.5 at the Reggie Lewis Track in Boston. The Panthers Kaitlyn Quealy won the 300m and high jump and placed third in long jump. Izabella Ross won the 55m dash and long jump. Annabelle Lynch won the 600m and 2 mile, while Maggie Kuchman grabbed the wins in the mile and 1000m. The Panthers Reis Pirerelli won the shot put.

Hopkinton won the 4x400m relay (senior Natalie Nguyen, juniors Chloe Tumbleton and Meaghan Burdulis, and senior Malia Grant). Grant and Tumbleton also took second and third in the 1000m, both in personal bests. Senior Josie Hopkins won the hurdles and placed second in the long and triple jumps. Junior Abby Burke placed second in the 55m and third in the 300m and shot put. Junior Emma Prisco took second in the 300m and third in the 55m. Sophomore Kylie Rogers ran a big personal nest to take second in the hurdles. Seniors Bridgid Cavanaugh and Elyse Srodawa placed second in the mile and 2 mile, respectively. Junior Kaelyn Faber finished second in the shot put.
