Once clean up is finished and power is restored to all residents, we are going to meet with NSTAR, National Grid, and local officials to assess the storm response and discuss ways in which we can more efficiently respond to damage and power outages for the next storm that comes our way.

For more information, continue to follow www.karenspilka.com for updates as we receive them. Also, please check the links for NSTAR and National Grid listed above for information throughout the day.

The safety of my constituents is always foremost in my mind and I have also been in touch with the local officials of each community I represent about different storm relief programs or initiatives they have started. Please visit my website for local storm relief programs underway.

Warm Regards,
