The Hopkinton Parks & Recreation issued a message through twitter stating that swimming at Sandy Beach has been closed until further notice. They stated high levels of bacteria in the water is the reason. The tweet stated; “Swimming at Sandy Beach closed until further notice. Recent storms have created unsafe levels of bacteria in the water.”
