The Gathering is a half-hour cooking show created around preparing and hosting a dinner party. Taping is done in my home, and I give cooking demonstrations for dishes on the menu as I work. The show ends with the dinner guests arriving and enjoying the meal.

I have resided in Hopkinton since 1979 and have hosted countless dinner parties and special celebrations. So many that people began calling my home “the gathering.” While volunteering to cook breakfast at the Hopkinton Senior Center, I was asked if I would be interested in hosting a cooking show for HCAM, to which I replied “I love to cook, I love to entertain, I love to talk, so sure, I’ll give it a shot!” I thought “The Gathering” would be a perfect name for the show.
