For the 25th year in row, John Hancock introduced the Elmwood students to some of the elite Marathon runners from Kenya. This year the runners at Elmwood included 2012 Men’s Boston Marathon Champion, Wesley Korir, 2015 Women’s Boston Marathon Champion, Caroline Rotich and also Wilson Chebet, Geoffrey Kirui, Sammy Kitwara, Emmanuel Mutai, Daniel Salel, Joyce Chepkirui, Gladys Cherono, Valentine Kipketer, Edna Kipligat and Brigid Kosgei.
