3rd Annual Mary Korbey Girls Basketball Tournament at Hopkinton High School on December 28th & 29th

The 3rd annual Mary Korbey invitational holiday tournament will take place at Hopkinton High School on Saturday, December 28th and Sunday, December 29th.

HCAM will have the live broadcast of the games on the 28th and a live video stream of the games on the 29th.

Mary Korbey was a beloved longtime basketball coach in Hopkinton who passed away after her courageous battle with cancer in 2015. In 2014 Korbey led the 8th grade team to a state championship.

Town Hall & Municipal Offices closed for the Holidays

Hopkinton Town Hall & Municipal Offices (including the Public Library and Senior Center) will be closed on 12/25/24 & 1/1/25 in observance of the Holidays. Additionally, these buildings will close at 2pm on 12/24/24 and 12/31/24.

Holiday schedule for curbside trash pickup - No trash or recycling curbside collection on 12/25/24 or 12/31/24. Collections will be delayed one day for the remainder of those weeks.

The Recycling drop-off center will be open on Saturday during normal operating hours.

Hopkinton Girls Track & Field falls to Holliston, 51.5-43.5

On Monday afternoon, Holliston girls track and field team beat Hopkinton, 51.5-43.5 at the Reggie Lewis Track in Boston. The Panthers Kaitlyn Quealy won the 300m and high jump and placed third in long jump. Izabella Ross won the 55m dash and long jump. Annabelle Lynch won the 600m and 2 mile, while Maggie Kuchman grabbed the wins in the mile and 1000m. The Panthers Reis Pirerelli won the shot put.

Hopkinton Hillers 24-25 Winter Sports Week 2 Recap: Dec 17th - Dec 20th

It was an action packed week 2 for Hiller Winter sports, Boys Basketball hosted Dedham & Holliston, Boys Hockey opened their season vs Westwood and Hop/Ds Girls Hockey hosted Medfield.

Hopkinton Girls Track & Field defeats Dedham Thursday, 58-33

Hopkinton girls track & field team secured a win over Dedham in a dual meet at Brandeis University on Thursday, December 19 with a score of 58-33. Senior Josie Hopkins won the long jump and 55m hurdles and anchored the winning 4x400m relay. Senior Elyse Srodawa won the mile and junior Emma Prisco won the 300m. The Hillers swept three events--the 1000m, high jump and long jump. Senior Bridgid Cavanaugh, junior Meaghan Burdulis and sophomore Jillian Toran took 1-2-3 in the 1000m. Hopkins, sophomore Isabel Walker, and junior Abby Burke swept the long jump.
