The Annual Hopkinton Town Election takes place on Monday May 20th (tomorrow) at Hopkinton Middle School. Polls will be open from 7am until 8pm! This year there's a contested race featuring (4) candidates for (2) open seats on the Select Board and (8) ballot questions. The Hopkinton Police Department recognized "National Police Week" in a series of social media posts, which can be seen below.

"In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others."

In collaboration with M&T Bank, State Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg’s Small Business Initiative (SBI) opened online registration for its 2024 Small Business Empowerment Series. The series includes two free virtual workshops that will help Massachusetts entrepreneurs protect their finances and gain access to crucial credit resources. Both workshops will be presented in English with live interpretation in Spanish.
