Hopkinton Hillers 23-24 Spring Sports Week 8 Recap: May 20th-24th. Hillers wrapped up the final week of the regular season. Boys Tennis, Girls Tennis, Baseball, Softball and Boys Lacrosse now await playoff seedings.

Joseph Stanley Davis, 65

Joseph Stanley Davis, 65, formerly of Hopkinton, died May 13, 2024 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Framingham, MA, he was the devoted son of the late Stanley J. and Rita E. (Leonard) Davis.

He graduated from Marian High School in Framingham, MA, and attended Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa from where he had many fond memories. He had the recent opportunity to make a return trip to reunite with life-long friends. He graduated from Stonehill College in Easton, MA.

Hopkinton Town Hall Closed in Observance of Memorial Day

Hopkinton Town Hall, and other municipal offices will be closed on Monday May 27th in observance of Memorial Day.

The library will be closed for the duration of Memorial Day weekend, May 25 through May 27.

Curbside trash service will not run on Monday, May 27, 2024. There will be a one day delay for the rest of the week. The Recycling Center will be closed on Saturday.

Town of Hopkinton Recognizes New Staff Members and Promotions Added in 2024

Interim Town Manager Elaine C. Lazarus is pleased to share several new hires and promotions for the Town of Hopkinton this year and would like to recognize over 20 new employees currently working in various departments for the Town.

"These are the people who perform the necessary functions in our town government and we're very excited to have them onboard," said Interim Town Manager Lazarus said.

Miller was promoted from her previous position as a Young Adult Librarian to Assistant Library Services Director.

Support Animals in Need at Baypath Humane Society’s Fore Paws Golf Tournament

Baypath Humane Society is excited to announce that the 11th Annual Fore Paws Golf Tournament to benefit Baypath Humane Society will be held on Friday, June 14h at the Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, Massachusetts. The tournament will be a four-person scramble format, beginning with a shotgun start at 1:30pm. After golf, guests gather for a night of silent auction, delicious cuisine, an awards ceremony, and an update on Baypath’s mission.
