New Pickleball + Tennis Courts Open, Town Clerk Talks Election and HHS Students help Veterans Family.. On June 5th HCAM News!

On the June 5th edition of HCAM News, Hopkinton High School Habitat for Humanity Club builds a play house for a veteran’s child as part of operation playhouse, Town Clerk, Connor Degan let’s us know how the 2024 Town election went and more… but first, the new pickleball and tennis courts by the Fruit St. Fields were officially opened last Friday.

Watch Now: Hopkinton High School Habitat for Humanity Club builds play-house for Child of a Veteran

On an annual basis the Hopkinton High School "Habitat for Humanity" club has participated in "Operation Playhouse" and worked hard to build a playhouse for the Child of a Veteran.

This year, the club built a play house for the O'Sullivan family and a little girl named Fiona. Fiona was very grateful for her new castle-themed play house.

Hopkinton Garden Club: 100 Years of Gardening & Friendship

2024 marks 100 years of the Hopkinton Garden Club cultivating gardens and friendships. In celebration of this landmark anniversary, the Hopkinton Garden Club is hosting a National Garden Club Horticulture Specialty Show. It has been over 25 years since the HGC hosted a flower show so bringing it back for the 100th anniversary felt fitting.

Linda Wright Robison, 81

Linda Wright Robison, 81, of Hopkinton, passed away on May 29, 2024 after a bout with cancer. The first-born child of Ellen Gough Dinsmore and Calvin Jewett Wright, she grew up in Sturbridge and Marblehead. Linda is survived by her husband, James Robison, M.D., her daughters Melissa Guppy Williamson (Robert) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and Janet Guppy Beach (Troy Altamura) of Hopkinton, and stepchildren Rod Robison of Newton, Kristin Robison of Brookline and Kenley Robison of Marlborough.
